2009 RUF CTR 3 (RHD)
The RUF CTR3 was originally launched in 2007 and was the first mid-engined sports car to be developed by RUF. Powered by a turbocharged 3.8 litre flat-six boxer engine the CTR3 featured a body-shell that consisted of steel, aluminium and kevlar-carbon fabrication which made the car very lightweight and provided an excellent low centre of gravity. Extreme levels of performance were high on the agenda of the design brief for this supercar from RUF
Finished in Connaught Green with a Black Leather interior this left hand drive RUF CTR 3 was originally delivered to Japan in 2009 as a WHITE CTR 3. It has since been repatriated with the factory in Pfaffenhausen and has overdone an extensive overhaul having a full bare-metal respray to the much favoured Connaught green.
Fitted with RUF's own sequential manual 6-Speed gearbox, this example is capable of finding 60 mph in under 3.2 seconds and the 3.7 Litre Twin Turbo Flat 6 puts out 691 BHP.
Fitted with a matching full quilted Olive green interior, it very much complements the 'RUF green' overall appearance of the car that the manufacturer is much fabled for.
This is example has a navigation system, BOSE Hi-Fi, Climate Control, RUF Front Lifting System, Aluminium Gear shifter, Matching Aluminium pedals, Carbon Ceramic brakes with 'Blossom' Yellow Callipers and a complimenting Interior Carbon trim set. The exterior has a Carbon front and rear diffuser, Roof Scoop and Active-Aero Rear Wing.
As the driver you would find yourself nestled in the Carbon bucket RUF 'Lollypop' seats, also synonymous with the company.
Underneath the rear clamshell you'll find the home of the 3.7 twin Turbo Unit, dressed in full carbon unveiling the semi-carbon platform that the CTR 3 sits on.
This Pristine example has completed a mere 9000 KMS since new and has been fastidiously maintained by both RUF (RTC) Japan and RUF in Pfaffenhausen Germany.
